Turkish Super Lig

The Turkish Super Lig is the top professional football (soccer) league in Turkey. Established in 1959, it features the highest level of competition among Turkish football clubs. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the TFF First League, the second tier of Turkish football. It is organized by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and typically consists of 18 teams that compete against each other in a round-robin format, with each team playing home and away matches against every other team in the league. At the end of the season, the team with the most points is crowned the champion, while the lowest-ranked teams face relegation to the lower division. The Turkish Super Lig is known for its passionate fan base and competitive matches, showcasing some of the country’s most prominent football clubs, including Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş.
