UEFA

UEFA, or the Union of European Football Associations, is the governing body for soccer (football) in Europe. It is responsible for organizing national and club competitions, including prestigious tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA European Championship. Founded in 1954, UEFA is one of six continental football governing bodies and consists of 55 member associations. Its primary functions include setting the rules and regulations for competitions, promoting the sport across Europe, and ensuring fair play among its member associations. UEFA also works to develop and improve football on the continent, encompassing areas such as youth development, coaching, and women’s football.
