Natural Disasters

Natural disasters are sudden and extreme events caused by natural processes of the Earth that result in significant disruption to communities, loss of life, and damage to property and the environment. These events can include phenomena such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. Natural disasters often occur with little warning and can lead to immediate and widespread impacts on human populations and ecosystems. They can disrupt infrastructure, cause economic losses, and necessitate emergency responses and recovery efforts. The severity and damage caused by natural disasters can vary based on factors such as the intensity of the event, the vulnerability of the exposed population, and the preparedness of the affected area.
