Europa League

The Europa League is an annual club football competition organized by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) for eligible European football clubs. It is considered the second-tier tournament in European football, below the UEFA Champions League. The competition was rebranded from the UEFA Cup in 2009 and typically features teams that have qualified based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. The tournament involves a series of matches, including group stages and knockout rounds, culminating in a final match to determine the champion. The winner of the Europa League also earns a place in the following season’s UEFA Champions League and qualifies for the UEFA Super Cup, where they face the UEFA Champions League winner.
